Bucket-List: European Alps Hiking

We, the people to whom travel and hiking comes from the heart are well known of the fact that the European Alps offers a plethora of walks. But we fail to plan often being confused - where to start? This was a subject I was going through for some times and finally after hard research over the topic, I am here to pen down the outcome: The Ultimate Hikers Bucket List, as you can name it, off course.

Matterhorn Circuit
In my opinion this circuit, perhaps should be high on the bucket list of any keen walker. Hiking around the Cervin, perhaps the most recognised peak in the Alps and criss-crossing between Italy and Switzerland, this trek circuit is a true walker’s delight with steep ascents, high pass crossings, besides spectacular views and isolated sections of trails that makes one feel like out there on your own.

Chamonix to Zermatt
This route in between Chamonix ( Mont Blanch ) and Zermatt ( Matterhorn ) in a true sense was established by the expert mountaineers, but one can enjoy the magic of the walk all the way along the classic walker's route. Hey you need to be fit enough to enjoy the mind blowing views of 4000m+ peaks such as Zinalrothorn, Weiss horn and Dent Blanche.

Sitting in the border of Switzerland and Italy in the Pennine Alps the peak of Grand Combin, is a spectacular mountain, rising above 4314m above sea level. The trails here are so quiet that one can enjoy the peaks and passes almost all to his own self. This is to keep in note that this region ia famous for the St. Bernand dog, which found the fame rescuing travellers traversing the St. Bernand Pass from their base. One can stay one night in the pass to appreciate this historic location.

Tour de Monte Rosa
One can call name it one of the best walk in all of Europe - around the highest peak in the Pennine Alps, followed by the second highest in the entire European Alps - the Monte Rosa (4634m). Trek through the amplitheatre of awosome and inspiring 4000m peaks, marvel at the glaciers and appreciate this serious walking challenge in a spectacular alpine setting, following the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci along ancient mountain trails linking Switzerland to Italy.

Via Ferrate Guided Walk
Have a heads for heights? Experience the Dolomites from the top down thanks to a network of iron ladders and cables. I bet it will be a spectacular activity to remember. And off course no previous climbing experience required.
