Speak Up

I am really frustrated and feeling helpless every morning I woke up going through the daily newspapers over my cup of tea.

Standing in the midst of high end technology, I am quite sure that you all are aware of the recent developments and the situations prevailing in Myanmar. Yes I am talking about the Rohingas, the people / community, in my eyes, and not just an issue, as many of are now a days love to say.
The inhuman treatment they are passing through makes me feel, yea, I mean it.

The Govt. of Myanmar pays no heed to their problems and even does not treat them as citizen and not to mention, in my opinion and observations, I may differ from others, neither the whole world damn gives them a care and are sincere to solve the problems. They are been tortured in their own country to the tune of murder and rape, resulting to leave and sail out in the ocean to reach neighboring countries or to be precise towards an uncertain future. Each and every day small children, women are getting carried out and drowned in the sea as if they don't have the basic right to be humans.

Why aren't International and so called powerful countries and organisations taking up the case in the right order and coming forward to solve it?
I feel ashamed to consider myself as a Human and really feeling helpless.
It's time to speak up, or else we would have no way to face our next generations.
That's all for today.
To an end note, I request all to Speak Up in whatever ways they can and prove that Humanity still exist.
Stay Blessed

Oymyakon: Coldest place on Earth!

Recently, in my city, people were very much disappointed with the schools depriving the kids by not giving enough holidays during the much awaited winter break. If you think that’s a matter of concern, come let me introduce you all to Oymyakon’s solitary school that closes only when the temperature falls below -52°C. Obviously the next rapid fire would be “Am I kidding?” It’s been a while now since I have been wishing to visit Oymyakon but the thought of living through the extreme conditions makes me shiver. Located in the eastern Yakutsk region in Russia, also known as the ‘Pole of Cold’,  Oymyakon   valley is the coldest place on Earth ! They say the lowest temperature recorded here was -71.2°C with the average being -50°C. Imagine, coldest, I understand but inhabited, that’s the strange part. Freezing at -52°C | Photo credit: Bolot Bochkarev/askyakutia.com Seriously it’s a matter of wonder for me to think how a population of approxima...
